What are we looking for?

As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and engagement across various social media platforms. You will collaborate with the social media and marketing team to develop and implement effective social media strategies, create visually appealing content, and monitor social media channels. Your digital marketing expertise and graphic design skills will be essential in driving brand awareness and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other multimedia content to support social media campaigns.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to engage with our audience.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist in managing social media advertising campaigns, including creating ad creatives and monitoring performance.
  • Help with content planning.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Assistant, Social Media Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing tools.
  • Experience with digital marketing concepts and tools, including SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
