About the Role 

As a social media Officer, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies for Cynical Technology & bugv. From crafting compelling content to engaging with our audience, you will play a key role in building our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness.
• Manage and grow social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
• Create high-quality content, including carousels, infographics, blogs, and SEO-optimized posts.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns, polls, and giveaways.
• Monitor trends in digital marketing and social media for relevant content creation.
• Engage with the community, respond to queries, and foster discussions.
• Analyze performance metrics and optimize strategies based on insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media with company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management/digital marketing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Photoshop, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of social media tools such as Buffer, Meta Business Suite.
• Strong writing skills for engaging content and SEO-optimized captions.
• Experience in data-driven content marketing and A/B testing.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and attention to detail.

Bonus: A background in cybersecurity, tech, or related industries is a plus!
