Site Operations and Logistics Assistant / Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Site Operations and Logistics Assistant / Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well across teams, and is comfortable in a hands-on, on-site environment. The successful candidate will work closely with ground staff, pickup teams, the accounts team, and the clientele team to ensure smooth operations across the facility. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Operations and Supervision :

• Assist with the management of site operations, including setting priorities and targets, assigning tasks, and supervising ground staff. 
• Maintain a proper health and safety environment in the workplace and report any incidents or injuries. 
• Organize and attend ground team meetings as required. 
• Support conflict resolution and smooth communication between team members.
• Assist in preparing periodic operations reports. 

2. Logistic Support:

• Assist in scheduling daily client pick-ups and preparing pickup sheets. 
• Support client communication via phone, social media, email, and in-person to address basic needs and queries.
• Help coordinate between site personnel, operations, and pickup teams for smooth communication flow. 
• Assist in organizing periodic training sessions for the pickup staff. 
• Prepare monthly reports on trips, attendance, and distances covered by pickup teams and vehicles. 
• Support account management tasks, including tracking payments and coordinating with the accounts team for settlements. 

3. Inventory and Product Management:

• Maintain an inventory of all incoming scrap from various sources. 
• Cross-check waste volume stated in PR receipts filled by Doko Agents. 
• Maintain regular inventory for all sellable products, including second-hand items.
• Add and update products on platforms such as Hamrobazar. 
• Process and respond to orders and client inquiries through online platforms. 

4. Others:

• Maintain record of all scrap sales and purchases. 
• Support on-site shredding activities with required resources and maintain machine and shredding logs/photos when required. 
• Assist in preparing basic waste impact and shredding reports with supporting photos and videos. 
• Coordinate with the Partnerships team during facility tours.
