Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Manager. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the service department operates to the highest possible standards at all times delivering value for money for the customers and excellent training opportunities for the employees. You should ensure well functioning of all the tools, equipment/ machine and the asset of the workshop and notify for the maintenance/repair as required. Additionally, you will monitor the cleanliness of the service center infrastructure, machinery, working floor, toilets, and monitor the day to day/operational activity in the service center ensuring the functional activity of the all concerned department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automotive service environment.
  • Must have a valid driving license for four-wheelers.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and meet deadlines.

Core Competencies

  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of the service department.
  • Comprehensive understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills to handle complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve technical issues.
  • Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and ensuring all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Working Hours: Sunday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Work Place: On-Site

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
