  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain it.

Job Description

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring excellent first impressions.
  • Present menus, accurately describe dishes, make recommendations, and provide information about dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, entering them into the POS system with care.
  • Deliver orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring proper presentation.
  • Provide attentive service by checking on guests regularly and addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and server areas.
  • Assist in training new waitstaff on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to ensure a hygienic dining experience.
