Reports To: Chairperson / General Manager

Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Delights Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of catering, cafeteria, and hospitality services. The role focuses on maintaining high service standards, optimizing operational efficiency, managing teams, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement across all operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day operations across all client locations.
Ensure smooth execution of catering, cafeteria, and hospitality services.
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and service standards.

2. Client Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Address client concerns and resolve operational issues promptly.
Conduct regular client visits to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with clients regarding service requirements, events, and operational changes.

3. Team Leadership

Supervise Site Supervisors, Kitchen Staff, Service Staff, and Support Teams.
Assign responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
Conduct regular team meetings and operational briefings.
Identify training needs and support employee development.

4. Quality Assurance

Ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
Monitor compliance with food safety and workplace health regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of kitchens, dining areas, and operational facilities.
Implement corrective actions where required.

5. Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, equipment, and supplies.
Coordinate with procurement for timely purchase.
Minimize wastage and control operational costs.
Review consumption reports and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

6. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

Monitor operational budgets and expenses.
Verify attendance, staff deployment, and shift schedules.
Coordinate with HR and Finance regarding payroll, staffing, and operational documentation.
Prepare operational reports for management.

7. Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Enforce workplace safety and hygiene practices.
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.

8. Continuous Improvement

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency.
Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience.
Recommend process improvements and new operational initiatives.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Authority
The Operations Manager is authorized to:

Supervise and allocate operational staff.
Approve daily operational requirements within the delegated authority.
Recommend hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers in consultation with management.
Implement operational improvements subject to management approval.
