Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for curating and designing exceptional travel experiences for high-end clientele. Your role involves crafting be spoke itineraries, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring a seamless and personalized travel journey for clients seeking premium travel services. You will collaborate with travel DMCs, hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other partners to create unforgettable travel experiences that cater to the unique preferences and desires of affluent travelers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, a deep understanding of luxury tourism, and proven expertise in curating unforgettable travel experiences tailored to client preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation and needs assessment with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests and budget. 
  • Craft customized travel itineraries that align with clients' preferences, incorporating luxury accommodations, exclusive activities, unique experiences, dining reservations, etc. to provide a personalized and distinctive travel experience.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding and stay updated about various destinations, including cultural attractions, local customs, and hidden gems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury hotels, resorts, airlines, and other travel partners as well as negotiate exclusive rates, amenities, and privileges for clients to enhance their travel experience.
  • Ensure seamless travel logistics and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the journey including flights, accommodations, transportation, and special requests.
  • Offer real-time support to clients, addressing any concerns or changes that may arise during their travels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with DMCs, while negotiating contracts and partnerships to secure the best rates and services for clients.
  • Monitor global travel trends to identify emerging markets and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop strategies to attract high-net-worth travelers from various international markets.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of travel plans.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of preferences, itineraries, and communication history for future reference.
  • Gathering feedback and communicating it to relevant departments to improve service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in luxury travel consultancy or a related field, with a focus on inbound and outbound travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in luxury travel planning or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences.
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the global travel industry, including DMC operations and supplier networks.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
