Responsibilities

• Guide the development of automated acceptance and integration test suites for use across our DC business covering web frontends, Single Page Applications and REST APIs
  
• Work to embed testing and quality gates when pull requests are raised, providing feedback to developers on potential regression issues
  
• Define and Implement Performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter
  
• Articulate and guide development of tools and processes leveraged across the SDLC for continuous improvement in agility, quality and process/tooling maturity
  
• Communicate and work with teams in a globally distributed environment
  
• Shares knowledge openly within the team and across engineering
  
• Analyze and debug system problems providing clear steps to reproduce issues found

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  
• A self-starter with a great work ethic and an eagerness to keep up to date with leading technological trends in the automated testing space
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
  
• Experience developing test solutions and test frameworks in a continuous integration and delivery environment
  
• 5+ years experience automating acceptance and integration tests for the web (Single Page Apps, Websites and REST APIs) via tools like Selenium, Protractor or headless browsers like Puppeteer
  
• Demonstrated experience with one or more programming languages – Javascript preferred
  
• Demonstrated experience working with RDBMS’s and SQL (MySQL preferred)
  
• Experience working with AWS, Docker, and Jenkins preferred
  
• Exposure to PHP (Lumen framework), JS (React)
  
• Good exposure and understanding of testing E-commerce sites
  
• Exposure to the concepts around microservices and microsites
  
• Experience with GIT, bitbucket, Github and the Gitflow branching model
  
• Experience adhering to an Agile development environment and iterative sprint cycle
