Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science and/or Public Policy
Demonstrated competence in research through evidence of publications
Demonstrated strong writing skills through evidence of publications
Strong leadership and fundraising capability
3 – 5 years of relevant research experience

Conduct (field) research and produce in-depth research reports, papers, or policy analyses on a regular basis
Finalize and compile research and policy briefs for submission to donors and publication
Engage in strategic communications with citizens, the civil society and policy-makers
Lead and supervise the research team
Plan, implement and assign tasks for the organization’s existing and future research projects
Develop and submit quarter and annual work plans for research to the Program Manager
Develop research project proposal as per the donor requirements
