BBC Media Action is the BBC’s international development charity. Working with media and communication to help reduce poverty and support people in claiming their rights, our aim is to inform, connect and empower people around the world. Overall purpose of Job
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Research Officer to work on a 7-country project relating to public understandings of environmental issues in Asia. The candidate will have at least 3 years experience conducting audience research. The Senior Research Officer will be an experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher with strong design and analytical skills. He/she needs to be sound in quantitative data analysis, moderating FGDs and IDIs and reporting. Any experience of undertaking audience research to inform communications on the environment and related issues is highly desirable. The candidate will have strong written and spoken Nepali and English.
