Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Expertise:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans across various telephony and communication software projects.
• Conduct thorough functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of real-time systems like calls, messaging, and conferencing.
• Craft well-structured test cases, scripts, and plans based on requirements, technical specifications, and user feedback.
• Utilize automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework) to streamline test execution and improve efficiency.
• Analyze test results, identify critical defects, and propose effective improvement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools in the telephony and communication domain.

Collaborative Spirit:

• Participate actively in product development iterations, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate test findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively engage in discussions and contribute to improving overall quality processes and best practices.
• Mentorship and Growth:
• Share your knowledge and expertise by mentoring junior QA engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the team's professional development.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or a similar role in the software development industry.
• Proven expertise in testing telephony and communication systems or similar systems, including experience with VoIP protocols and real-time technologies.
• Have hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc. along with test management tools such as AIO tests, XRay, etc.
• In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Strong proficiency in writing clear and concise test documentation and reporting.
• Solid experience with automation frameworks and tools relevant to the domain (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Problem-solving abilities to identify and troubleshoot quality issues efficiently.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess test results and propose actionable solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in quality assurance and telephony technologies.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM development practices.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISTQB, TMMi).
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Programming experience (e.g., Python, Java).
