Nepal biogas promotion association (NBPA), a non-governmental & non-profit making organization is an umbrella organization of all recognized biogas construction companies & biogas appliances manufacturing workshops in the country. NBPA was established in 1994 with the mission of disseminating biogas technology and its benefits to all the users as well as providing support in implementing Government of Nepal/development partner’s biogas program. Moreover, NBPA work for lobbying towards biogas sector related policies and advocacy for the benefit of member biogas construction companies.

Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 5 years
Other Specification

Education:

  • Master in Rural development, Energy management, Engineering in civil/mechanical preferable 

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Able to work in an organized way under time pressure
  • Familiar with renewable energy sector (Biogas program) in Nepal
  •  Sound computer skills required for the position 
  • Excellent oral and written skill of both Nepali and English language
  • Excellent, proposal and report writing skill
  • Energetic personality with a good and open communication style 

Job Description

  • Planning, organizing and implementing the overall assigned task in TOR 
  • Attend meetings as a representative of NBPA with stakeholders
  • Improve the efficiency and work-flow in the organization and follow up on tasks and commitments. 
  • Liaise permanently to all internal and external stakeholders involved in project; acts and is perceived as an initiator of relevant communication to solve issues
  • Drive projects and assignments through communicative personal energy and engagement
  • Explain sensitive information with diplomacy, and build consensus 
  • Present activities and represent NBPA effectively in all professional circles
