Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts and Finance Officer who can take ownership of the company’s financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements, and provide accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and supervise day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company
Prepare financial statements, reports, and management accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Ensure compliance with taxation laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cost control activities
Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and financial transactions
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit processes
Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely submission of required documents
Support management in financial decision-making and policy implementation
Work with ERP systems, including SAP Business One, for accounting and reporting functions

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Required Age:Less than 35 years

Other Specification

Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Minimum of 2 (two) years of relevant work experience in accounts and finance
Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, and budgeting
Experience in the public sector or the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
Practical knowledge and working experience in SAP Business One is preferred
