YoungInnovations is looking for a skilled Senior Node.js Developer to lead and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance web applications. As a Node.js Developer, you will be guiding teams, crafting clean and efficient code, and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions for new products and technologies.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on scalability, performance, and best practices.
• Design and implement secure, high-performing RESTful APIs and back-end services.
• Mentor and guide project teams on processes, methodologies, and coding standards.
• Ensure optimal database performance and seamless integration with front-end elements.
• Identify project risks and communicate them effectively to the team and management.
• Proactively update clients on project status, progress, and expectations.
• Stay updated with industry trends to make informed decisions on technologies and approaches.
• Document processes and system designs, including database schemas, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Node.js developer
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express Framework, along with vanilla JavaScript and at least one MV framework (e.g., React, Angular).
• Strong command of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Git, its branching models, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Linux systems, server administration, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Proven experience in software architecture design and conducting code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze, scope requirements, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience working in agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on proactive and clear verbal and written interactions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HTML5/CSS3, ReactJS, NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Apache Solr
• Understanding of QA process
• Have used various programming languages and paradigms
• Have some experience in/passionate about the development sector
