YoungInnovations is looking for a skilled Senior Node.js Developer to lead and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance web applications. As a Node.js Developer, you will be guiding teams, crafting clean and efficient code, and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional solutions. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions for new products and technologies.
Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on scalability, performance, and best practices.
Design and implement secure, high-performing RESTful APIs and back-end services.
Mentor and guide project teams on processes, methodologies, and coding standards.
Ensure optimal database performance and seamless integration with front-end elements.
Identify project risks and communicate them effectively to the team and management.
Proactively update clients on project status, progress, and expectations.
Stay updated with industry trends to make informed decisions on technologies and approaches.
Document processes and system designs, including database schemas, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Node.js developer
Proficiency in Node.js and Express Framework, along with vanilla JavaScript and at least one MV framework (e.g., React, Angular).
Strong command of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
Working knowledge of Git, its branching models, and version control systems.
Familiarity with Linux systems, server administration, and PostgreSQL databases.
Proven experience in software architecture design and conducting code reviews.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze, scope requirements, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience working in agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on proactive and clear verbal and written interactions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice to Have

Experience with HTML5/CSS3, ReactJS, NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Apache Solr
Understanding of QA process
Have used various programming languages and paradigms
Have some experience in/passionate about the development sector
