Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lab Technician (SLT) to join our team at Baniya Nirman Sewa. As a mid-level candidate, you will play a crucial role in our Asphalt surface Road Project by providing technical expertise and support in laboratory testing and analysis. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in ensuring the quality and integrity of our project.

Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory tests and analysis on asphalt materials and surface road samples
Prepare and maintain accurate records of test results and data
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with equipment or procedures
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret test results and make recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times
Train and supervise junior lab technicians
Stay updated with industry advancements and recommend new techniques or technologies to enhance lab processes
Assist in budgeting and procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Lab Technician, preferably in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment
Proficient in data analysis and report writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a laboratory setting
Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization is a plus
