Position: Senior Finance Officer for IFRC - Danish Red Cross
Duration : Short Term 5-6 months (Temporary cover for Maternity leave)
Qualification: Master's degree in Finance or equivalent
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, reconciling and reporting, experience on facilitating external audits
Responsibilities: The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for effective and timely financial management of the assigned projects, in accordance with DRC Lead financial procedures, and respective back-donor regulations. A key component of the role is to develop the financial management capacity of Nepal Red Cross Society under supervision of the Consortium Finance Manager. The position includes regular visits to NRCS including field visits to district chapters implementing the consortium projects.
