Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Back-End Developer to lead cloud-based development efforts for an international client. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS and Python, as well as strong leadership capabilities to manage full-lifecycle development and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the entire backend development lifecycle — from planning and architecture to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using AWS cloud services and Python-based frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI).
Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs for internal and external integration.
Manage both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Implement serverless and container-based solutions using AWS Lambda, ECS, or Docker.
Optimize applications for high performance, security, and fault tolerance in production environments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and project managers to align technical execution with business goals.
Contribute to technical planning, timeline estimation, and decision-making with stakeholders.
Provide mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support the growth of mid- and junior-level developers.
Help build and scale the technical team by contributing to hiring and onboarding processes.
Act as the primary backend technical lead on the project, ensuring best practices, timely delivery, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of backend development experience (10+ preferred).
Deep expertise in AWS services: Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway.
Proficiency in Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and deployment practices.
Strong understanding of API development and cloud security.
Excellent understanding of system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and application security.
Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of developers in a collaborative setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Familiarity with front-end integration (React/Angular).
Experience in working with DevOps tools and automated deployment.
