  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of experience as a cashier or bank clerk highly preferred
  • State gaming license required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
  • Will be required to work various shifts and weekends
  • Courteous and professional manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in using a 10-key calculator and other office equipment
  • Ability to count money accurately and quickly

Job Description

  • Calculates totals for customers chips and pays out cash for chips collected
  • Ensures that cash drawer is balanced at all times and makes exchanges with the vault when necessary
  • Verifies identification of customers requesting cash advances
  • Completes transactions accurately throughout shift
  • Keeps and updates an accurate report of the cash and chips received and distributed
  • Operates credit card processing equipment, coin sorting and wrapping machines, and other cashier equipment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
