Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Business Development Officer. The Senior Business Development Officer will be responsible for engaging in new business development, utilizing analytical skills to identify market opportunities, managing finance-related activities, and ensuring effective communication with clients. The Senior Officer will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market presence and achieve growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and anticipate industry trends.
  • Prepare business plans to support strategic initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored payment solutions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and manage client feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive sales growth and increase market share in the digital payments sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales materials and strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business development activities.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Track industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent education qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the airline industry, digital payments, or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • New Business Development and Analytical Skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Knowledge of digital payment systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
