Roles and responsibilities of this job

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and lead our import finance operations. The ideal candidate will handle full accounting functions, LC/TT processes, and landed cost calculations with precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily accounting records — sales, purchases, payments, receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Manage import-related finance, including LC/TT opening, supplier and bank coordination, and landed cost computation.
Handle VAT filing, TDS, Cheque management, and financial documentation.
Support the preparation of reports and ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Accounting/ Finance.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting; import/trade experience preferred.
Expertise in Letter of Credit (LC) & trade finance processes.
Strong knowledge of taxation laws (Income tax, VAT, TDS etc.)
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for financial analysis & reporting.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive communicator.
