Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial activities, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting the finance department in various strategic and operational tasks. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.
Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and decision-making.
Supervise and mentor junior accountants and provide training as needed.
Support financial analysis and strategic planning for the agency.
