Job Description

Preparing or reviewing account reconciliations and analyzing, monitoring budget to actual variances
Preparing financial reports, business activity statement, financial statements and carrying out periodic reconciliation and year-end profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost accounting & BAS reports
Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
Monitoring operating costs and organization’s income and expenditure
Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
Managing the accounts payables and receivables functions to ensure the prompt and accurate payment of invoices to outside vendors and reimbursements to faculty and staff and invoices to debtors
Managing all aspects of weekly and bi-monthly payroll processing if necessary, as a back up to the payroll staff
Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
Conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits and advising on financial matters
Examining operating costs and organization’s income and expenditure
Maintaining Xero Accounting systems
Handlining Client Management Software like (RTO, Accelerate)
Communicating with clients and business partner
