Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, and overseeing the general ledger. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in Tally, and advanced Excel skills, including Vlookup and pivot tables.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Utilize Tally for financial data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Use advanced Excel functions, including Vlookup, pivot tables, and ledger functions, to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation.
Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel, including Vlookup, pivot tables, and ledger functions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
