Position Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Birgunj
Experience: 2-3 Years in Accounting and Finance
Salary Range: NPR 35,000 - NPR 50,000
Responsibilities
· Verify and prepare various vouchers ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Generate invoices and salary sheets in a timely manner.
· Monitor and reconcile sales transactions.
· Manage cash and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Reconcile and verify bank statements and advices.
· Assist auditors during internal and tax audits.
· Facilitate arrangements for TDS and VAT compliance.
· Prepare monthly reports for management, including income statements and cash flow statements.
· Analyze and report on deviations from established standards for selling price, bank charges, insurance premiums, transportation costs, etc.
· Regularly back up accounting files and folders.
· Coordinate with employees to address financial inquiries and concerns.
· Maintain documentation and file management for the Accounts and Finance Department.
· Perform any additional tasks assigned by seniors as needed.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
· Strong mathematical, calculation, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with individuals from banks and government offices.
· Proficient in accounting principles including journal entries, ledger management, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
· Knowledgeable in finance concepts such as cash flow management, capital budgeting, ratio analysis, VAT, tax, and TDS.
· Familiarity with banking procedures and insurance practices.
· Fluent in both English and Nepali languages.
· Proficient in MS Office applications, Internet usage, and ERP systems.
· Patient and able to follow instructions effectively.
