Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Senior Account / Finance Officer is responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger entries.
Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and other statutory regulations.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Handle Letter of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and other banking transactions.
Verify and approve vouchers, invoices, and payment requests.
Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
Provide management with financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation rules.
Must have Experience in handling LC, TT.
