Security Coordinator

The incumbent is responsible for enabling the effective and efficient conduct of Plan Nepal activities while security, safety and wellbeing of staff/visitors as a high priority. She/He will be responsible for implementation of the standard security requirements of Plan Nepal. She/He will coordinate effective security processes and procedures that aim to further improve Plan’s overall security management in the response and programme area. 

Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in General. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar wide-ranging role, at least two (2) years of which is with an INGO.  Past on the ground field experiences in humanitarian security work, preferably in the areas where Plan operates working with the military or any of the investigative disciplines, is a preferred advantage. Demonstrated ability in conducting participatory risk assessments and preparing situational context analysis is preferred. Must have proven security management skills, with emphasis on the unique security requirements of humanitarian work especially in complex and insecure environments.

Terms And Location

Based in Country Office, Lalitpur -1 position with fixed term employment for three (3) years with travel to response area and Program Units
