Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to join our team. As a mid-level professional, you will be responsible for providing students with a stimulating and engaging learning environment in the subject of Science.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and objectives
Instruct students in the principles and theories of Science, using various teaching methods such as lectures, hands-on activities, and discussions
Administer and grade assessments to evaluate students' understanding of the subject matter
Communicate with parents, colleagues, and school administration on students' progress and any concerns
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and academic growth
Utilize technology and other educational tools to enhance the learning experience for students
Collaborate with other teachers to plan cross-curricular activities and projects
Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of Science and incorporate them into lesson plans
Engage in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and stay current with teaching strategies
Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
