Role and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Agile processes, manage, and execute backlog refining sessions for sprint teams, and provide
recommendations based on metrics evaluated.
- Provide recommendations to Product Owner for backlog grooming including prioritization. Ensure prioritization of features/capabilities to
ensure higher priority items are identified and implemented first.
- Serve the Product Owner and Development Team by guiding the team on how to use the agile processes.
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum.
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
- Take responsibility for impediments including resolving impediments, providing guidance for removing impediments, and escalating
impediments to ensure quick resolution.
- Facilitation of technical discussions, decision making, impediment resolution and conflict resolution.
- Ensure transparency from Product Owner to Development team by facilitating internal and external communication.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement including active facilitation of reviews and retrospectives and incorporation of lessons
learned for future sprints.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent, with two to four years of
related (call center environment) experience.
- Fluent in English language with both verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge with using Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Must possess a working knowledge and/or certification in Agile methodology
Preferred Skill
- Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum
approach (example: various burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
- Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing,
Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
