Job Description

The School Coordinator at Wendy House School plays a crucial role in ensuring the overall management, academic excellence and effectiveness of the educational and other programs / activities. This position involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and conducive learning environment. The School Coordinator will oversee curriculum development, teacher training, and student assessment, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the academic realm.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and subject matter experts to design and update the school's curriculum.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for teachers on effective teaching methods, assessment strategies, and technology integration.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive assessment system.
  • Facilitate communication between parents and teachers to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.
  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures in line with the school's mission and vision.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the academic department.
  • Implement the vision and mission of chairperson & principal and management committee of the school with positive intent.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an academic leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
