  • Proven experience in organizing/ facilitating training as well as mobilizing communities
  • Proven experience on sanitation specifically CLTS , SLTS and ODF approaches
  • Proven Experience in Repair and Maintenance WASH Facilities.
  • Familiarity of the place of work or district will be advantageous
  • Ability to communicate with people in local language
  • Medium in English (written/verbal)
  • Team management, organizational capacity and activity planning
  • Ability to analyse and synthesize –
  • Ability to work under limited supervision

Job Description

Support the design of ACF Sanitation strategy:

  • Ensure implementation of the Sanitation activities based on the proposal and or defined by the Manager.
  • Validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries, and identification of committed players.
  • Plan the activities considering the target of the project period and according to the development of the project.

Implement and follow up sanitation facilities rehabilitation, construction and maintenance and Faecal Sludge Management:

  • Prepare monitoring tools according to the project indicators
  • Preparing the details work plan for the construction work and implement as well as dislodging activity
  • Regular Monitoring the activity of the rehabilitation, maintenance, construction work, dislodging activity

Manage casual workers’ team:

  • Is responsible for security at working site for casual works and community
  • Monitor and follow up the casual workers’ activities
  • Assist and guidance the casual workers for smooth functioning of the project.

Strengthening Ownership through Advocacy and Partnerships:

  • Ensure communication is open between communities and ACF staffs and that feedback from people is reported to WASH Program Manager
  • Defining the approach with local stakeholders, other organizations and LGIs.
  • Develop an approach that create community demand and change community behaviours

Efficient management of the field stock:

  • Proper documentation of the received and delivered materials in the field level
  • Ensure the quality of the materials in the field level or in the base level (if needed)
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials in the field level
  • Ensuring the availability of the required materials (like SRO or relevant document) in the field level.
  • Ensure steps of stock management as per the ACF policy including periodical physical inventory or when needed.

Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract

Gross Salary per month : NPR 52000+
