Job Description

A Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling products or services, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales target

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in developing yearly Sales strategy for the assigned vertical and products in line with the Business strategies.
  • Provide assistant to develop yearly sales plan including targets for vertical and products and cascade the same to all team members aligning with Sales strategy
  • Develop client’s database along with visit plans ensuring good relations with them for future business opportunities.
  • Conduct all the planned activities to ensure good relations with clients in line with the plans.
  • Responsible for sales of assigned products along with AMCs in all verticals collaboratively in line with yearly sales plan.
  • Understand end to end lead time for product order to delivery to installation to have clarity of the process and commit realistic timelines for delivery of the products.
  • Assist in developing reporting formats to ensure full understanding of the products delivery process and follow up with all respective stakeholders to ensure delivery of the products in line with Agreement and Purchase Order.
  • Follow up with all the respective stakeholders as per the lead time and ensure that the products are delivered and installed as per the agreement / PO.
  • Regularly explore new markets and clients to ensure a broader client base which in turn will result into sales of the products.
  • Responsible for timely collection of payments from clients as per agreements.
  • Act as a Relationship Manager for all Sales Support requirements and ensure that the support is extended in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure all activities as per the Service Level Agreements for after sales support ensuring that relationship with the clients is managed well.
  • Send reports to all line managers giving the status of all the Sales related activities within the vertical for the assigned products and related areas.
  • Comply with all the agreed processes and Service Level Agreements to best interest of the Organization.
  • Assist Line Manager to regularly conduct Competitors Analysis and market requirements of the assigned products to become the market leader.
  • Assist Line Manager to communicate with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for the assigned products line to understand the internal market trends and to ensure timely support from them whenever needed.
