Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting the right aquarium products, including tanks, filters, pumps, heaters, lighting, and decorations.
• Provide advice and guidance on setting up and maintaining an aquarium, including water quality, feeding, and care for fish and other aquatic animals.
• Perform sales transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves, cleaning tanks and equipment, and organizing displays.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their purchases and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest aquarium products and industry trends, and share this information with customers.
• Assist with marketing and promotional efforts, such as setting up displays and participating in community events.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of aquarium products and services, including tanks, filters, pumps, heaters, lighting, and decorations.
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to listen to and understand customer needs, and provide helpful advice and guidance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, retail environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy aquarium equipment and supplies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
