Roles and responsibilities of this job

General Description: One of the major responsibilities as a Sales Manager/ Assistant Sales Manager is to foster relationships with clients to generate revenue along with providing the best customer experience.

Other Description:

Manage portfolio of accounts (agencies, FIT)

Be the Point of Contact for our agencies and clients
Promote our properties and services to clients/agencies
Organize regular sales visits or meetings to discuss on clients requirements
Stay up-to-date with changes and trends in the industry
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.

Sales leads and opportunities

Identify new potential customers
Work closely with marketing team to contribute on planning sales and marketing strategies
Identify opportunities to up- sell and cross sell
Monitor and report on sales performance to the team.

Maintain proactive initiative to build relations with other departments

Communicate the necessary information regarding clients to the concerned department (such as reservations, operations, finance) to ensure the smooth flow of information and delivery of service.
Ensure successful inter departmental relationships and corporate values and culture in the organization.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Studies
Proven working experience in similar position (sales and marketing), preferably in hotel, hospitality or Tourism industry (at least 2+ years of experience).
Excellent client-facing, communication and interpersonal skills
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Package (excel, word, power point and outlook)
Passion for customer service.
