Job Description

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Collaborate with the executive team to align sales objectives with overall company goals.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize their performance and effectiveness. Set clear goals and objectives and monitor individual and team performance.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and strategic partnerships within the education sector and beyond. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, corporate clients, and government agencies.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and sales methodologies to enhance the team's productivity and sales outcomes.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Engage with clients, understand their needs and pain points, and present tailored solutions that address their requirements. Maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Utilize insights to identify market opportunities, refine product positioning, and inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Utilize sales analytics and reporting tools to track sales performance, monitor progress against targets, and provide regular updates to the executive team.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and campaigns to generate leads and drive sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Sales Officer or Assistant Manager, with a successful track record in selling SAAS products.
  • Strong understanding of the SAAS industries and trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
