Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Accountable for ensuring all the essential guidelines are put in proper place accurately adhering to industry rules and regulations & regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed.
Administers programs to ensure compliance with NRB regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits. Conducts compliance and self-assessments with necessary reporting and follow-ups of the review.
Conduct risk assessments including impact analysis and monitor various risks.
Maintain/track/communicate various risks (Risk register) and coordinate with teams to mitigate them.
Review and recommend changes in policies and procedures.
Ensure that all the employees are thoroughly updated about the organization’s policies, regulations, and processes.
Suggest/advise the management regarding the implementation of compliance programs.
Adhere to the training and supervising the staff that needs attention to rules and regulations.
Recommends opportunities for the company to monetize or improve its bottom line, processes, or strategy.
Preparing presentations or coordinating to update senior management on the audit results, risk assessments etc.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 6 years

Required Age:Less than or equal to 55 years

Other Specification

Good knowledge of ISO27000 or CISA or ITIL or similar ISMS framework
Takes accountability for the team's performance and addresses poor performers
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
Detailed oriented and multitasking ability
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Stakeholder management and communication
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and client-facing skills
Strong competency in IT preferred
Bachelor in Computer/Audit/Law/ Management or similar field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 6-8 Years of experience. Sufficiently experienced (minimum 3 years) in Risk & Compliance function/IT audits and well-versed with all compliance as well as reporting requirements and procedures.
Age should not exceed 55 yrs.

NePS is looking for a highly motivated candidate to lead and drive Risk & Compliance unit. This role is to implement, administer and enforce all policies and procedures at NePS. He/ She is responsible for identifying risks, internal control weaknesses, internal audit and proposing appropriate controls to the management. The role is typically fast-paced and challenging, which makes it interesting, exciting and rewarding. The Rik & Compliance Manager will liaise with senior people in the business, in addition to external stakeholders, which can make the job even more satisfying. He/She will gain exposure to lots of different activities (audits/risk assessments/policy implementation etc), which will help him/her build up various skill-sets to progress with his/her career. The Risk & Compliance Head will directly report to the CIO and closely work with the Senior executives within NePS.
