Roles and responsibilities of this job

The main purpose of this position is responsible for leading the Restaurant, Lounge and Banquet, day to day handling the Food and Beverage related activities in the company that includes coordinate with kitchen on quality food, researching new food items, hold meeting among staff, review work performance of employees, conduct in house training as per requirement, manage to serve the hygienic food as per order within time frame. This position shall work under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating with the kitchen and service to effectively run the daily operations in order to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Reviewing the product quality, coordinate with multiple organizations for researching new guests, customers, and vendors.
Ensure all food qualities are meeting the company brand, sanitation /safety rules & customer queries are accurately addressed.
Keeping all restaurant-related records in terms of guests, billing, and ensuring all payments are made before their departure.
In consultation with the restaurant Manager, prepare the duty roster, discuss with the team, and assign their duty as per the roster and supervise employees as per shift.
Review the current food menu with operational cost and identify the main measures to address the unnecessary associated costs & set strategies to overcome.
In consultation with the team, estimate future goods requirements, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, and coordinate with the Store to be supplied on time.
Hold a meeting with food & beverage staff members, discuss teamwork, improving staff performance, attitude, time management, and work on a priority basis, and share its consequences.
Consult with team members on a regular basis, review their work performance, and give timely feedback on improvement areas to make a good team among staff members.
Initiate to organize an in-house training program for employees on the basis of Training Need Assessment (TNA).
Keep all information accurate and provide detailed operational reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to the management, or as and when required.
Strictly implement the polices, procedures, and protocols for maintaining restaurant operations effectively and efficiently.
Other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or culinary certification
A minimum of 4-6 years of working experience in the hospitality industry.
Good working knowledge of restaurant strategies
Basic computer and reporting skills
Good interpersonal skills in both languages
Work under pressure with minimum supervision.
