Roles and responsibilities of this job

As Sales and Marketing Executive, you are responsible for working closely with the Sales Team to analyze market trends, report results and develop a Sales Team to execute the selling strategy and achieve business objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager/Asst. Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities:

Handle and respond to guest bookings, inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and chat.
Develop and implement sales and reservation strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Lead and motivate a team providing guidance and support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with valued guests.
Contacting and follow up potential, existing guest or travel agents on the phone by email and in person.
Monitor sales and reservation performance and provide regular reports to management team.
Stay on top of the latest market trends and conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices.
Ensure efficient and accurate processing of reservations and bookings.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of sales reports.

Business degree, or any relevant qualification, would be advantageous
Strong verbal and written communicator
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs
Excellent phone and presentation skills

Requirements:

Experience in sales and reservation, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and IDS software.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Flexibility to work hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
