Essential Qualifications/Skills and Experience

• Diploma degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy with minimum 3 years of work experience or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy with minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Previous experience in community rehabilitation settings would be an advantage
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English and native speaker level Nepali
• Sound IT skills (intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum)
• Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing medical practice

Job responsibilities

This position holder will provide direct rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic treatments and interventions to RH residents, rehab pensioners along with their carers at Residential Home (RHs)/ AWC rehab OPD clinic in close collaboration with the RH clinical staff and under the technical supervision of the Cluster Rehabilitation Therapists and Cluster Medical Lead.

This includes recording and documenting treatments planned and delivered, and assessments of patient needs using the GWT Medical information System.
