Reports To: Managing Director / General Manager

The Resort Resident Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, from day-to-day staff management to guest relations. He/She should be an ambassador for the brand and the resort. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of the resort’s service culture, maximized operations, and guest satisfaction. Work very closely with the hotel owner and other stakeholders.

Responsible for managing the hotel’s management team (HODs) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all resort operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
Monitor reservations, room allocation, front office billing, staff attendance, and duty rosters.
Conduct regular briefings with Heads of Departments (HODs), review reports, and ensure effective interdepartmental coordination.
Lead, train, mentor, and develop the management team and employees to achieve operational excellence.
Conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness, presentation, service standards, and supply quality.
Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, policies, procedures, quality standards, and operational controls.
Manage guest complaints, oversee service recovery, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Prepare and implement annual operating budgets, sales and marketing plans, and short- and long-term business strategies.
Monitor P&L statements, financial reports, revenue forecasts, and departmental budgets to maximize profitability and control costs.
Drive revenue growth through room yield management, innovative sales strategies, corporate partnerships, and new business development.
Prepare monthly financial and operational performance reports for owners and stakeholders.
Oversee procurement, supplier contracts, operating supplies, equipment, and cost-saving initiatives.
Lead capital projects, renovations, refurbishment, and continuous operational improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, corporate clients, suppliers, and business partners.
Support residential sales and identify new revenue-generating opportunities, where applicable.
Ensure successful internal and external audits, legal compliance, occupational health and safety, fire safety, and licensing requirements.
Take overall accountability for departmental performance, service quality, team development, and achievement of resort objectives.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 6 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience in the hotel or resort industry.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior management position, such as Resident Manager, Operations Manager, Hotel Manager, or an equivalent leadership role.
Proven experience in managing multiple hotel departments and leading Heads of Departments.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, P&L management, revenue optimization, and cost control.
Experience in resort operations, luxury hospitality, leisure properties, or full-service hotels will be an advantage.
Previous experience working directly with hotel owners, investors, or stakeholders is highly desirable.
