Job Description

The RCA is a means of qualitative study which, like other qualitative approaches, focuses on ‘how’ and ‘why’ rather than ‘what’, ‘when’ and ‘how many’. The main idea is to have sustained, detailed conversations and intense interactions with a small number of households through staying with families for several days and nights in their own homes. Sharing in their lives provides opportunities to better understand the context for people’s opinions, experiences and perspectives.

As RCA is a relatively new approach, the researchers will have to undergo training which will also include an immersion before the main study. We are looking for young and enthusiastic individuals who can adapt to living with rural communities in their own environment for a short period of time.

TO APPLY:

Individuals having completed their Bachelors in any subject and having fluency in Maithali, Awadhi, Nepali and working knowledge of English are encouraged to apply with their Curriculum Vitae (CV) at [email protected]
