Roles and responsibilities of this job

Wheel Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking three dedicated Research Associates to conduct in-depth research on traditional sculptures, their historical significance, and the craftsmanship involved. The ideal candidates will analyze how sculptures are made, where they are produced, and the cultural narratives behind them. The research will contribute to insightful articles and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed research on the origins, materials, and techniques used in sculpture-making.
Document the processes and techniques used by traditional artisans.
Interview local artists, historians, and cultural experts.
Write high-quality research articles, reports, and case studies.
Capture photographs and videos to support research findings.
Collaborate with the team to publish reports and articles.
Travel to various locations to study sculpture craftsmanship.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Sociology, History, Fine Arts, Cultural Studies, or Journalism.
1-2 years of experience in research, writing, or documentation (freshers with an interest in research can also apply).
Strong interest in Nepalese heritage, arts, and crafts.
Experience in conducting field research and interviews.
Ability to write well-structured research articles and reports.
Photography and visual documentation skills are a plus.
Priority will be given to candidates with proficiency in the Chinese language.

Required Skills:

Excellent research and analytical skills.
Strong writing and documentation abilities.
Knowledge of traditional arts, culture, and heritage.
Proficiency in photography and video documentation (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
