Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Apple Certified Repair Technician to join our Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) team. The technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Apple devices, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and accessories, while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Device Diagnosis & Repair:

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on Apple products following Apple’s standard procedures.
Repair or replace defective components such as batteries, screens, logic boards, and other hardware parts.
Maintain high-quality service standards in compliance with Apple’s certification requirements.
Use Apple’s GSX (Global Service Exchange) system for warranty checks, repair status updates, and ordering parts.

2. Customer Service & Communication:

Assist customers with technical issues, explaining diagnoses and repair solutions in a clear, professional manner.
Provide estimates for out-of-warranty repairs and educate customers on Apple’s repair policies.
Ensure proper documentation of all repairs, including repair notes, customer signatures, and service reports.

3. Compliance & Inventory Management:

Follow Apple’s safety and quality guidelines during repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper condition.
Track and manage repair parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock availability.
Ensure proper disposal of defective parts and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.

4. Certification & Training:

Stay updated with Apple’s latest repair techniques and complete required certifications (such as ACiT, ACMT).
Participate in ongoing technical training and Apple-authorized workshops to enhance repair skills.
Assist in training junior technicians and support staff as needed.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Apple Certification (ACiT / ACMT) preferred or willingness to obtain certification within a specific period.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP).
Diploma/Degree in IT, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
Team player with a positive and professional attitude.

Technical Skills:

Experience in diagnosing and repairing Apple devices (MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc.).
Strong understanding of hardware components, soldering, and microelectronics (preferred).
Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining Apple’s high standards.
