  • Master’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy and registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with at least two years of clinical service delivery experience to elderly population or people with disabilities, and proven experience in community rehabilitation settings 
  • Proven experience of leading a team or leading on service development  
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English and native speaker level Nepali 
  • Sound IT skills (intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum) 

Job Description

The GWT Rehabilitation Lead is responsible for leading a team of 15 Rehabilitation Therapists based in 9 GWT centres throughout Nepal (including two residential homes with in-patient rehabilitation facilities), and one in Darjeeling.  

The role is intended to ensure the highest quality in all GWT-N rehabilitation services, including monitoring of clinical care, taking responsibility for clinical training and performance management, developing services, providing feedback and guidance to the GWT-N CRTs and medical management team, and working with external providers to enhance GWT-N rehabilitation services.
