Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children (HRDC) is the only program of The Friends of the Disabled (FoD), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing treatment and rehabilitation services to persons with physical disabilities. FOD/ HRDC in partnership with CBM Global has been implementing a Physical Rehabilitation Project in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim Province to enhance the quality of life of persons with physical disabilities. 

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Facilitator to join our team. The Rehabilitation Facilitator will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with physical disabilities, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life. This role involves working closely with persons with physical disabilities, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation services, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to working with persons with disabilities.

Basic Requirement

  • Minimum intermediate level with one year of experience in the physical disability rehabilitation sector. 
  • Modular Primary Rehabilitation Therapy (MPRT) or relevant training will be advantageous. 
  • Priority will be given to local residents of Kailali, Jajarkot and Surkhet/ Peripheral Districts.
  • The candidate must have good knowledge of the disability concept and the CBR inclusion approach and experience in a community mobilization development health program or similar experience.
  • Good command of English and Nepali (written and spoken) is required.
