Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recovery Officer to manage and monitor the collection of outstanding payments. The Recovery Officer will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely recovery, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up regularly with customers for outstanding payments as per credit terms.
Coordinate with Marketing & Sales Colleague for weekly / Monthly Collection From customers.
Prepare and maintain an updated Receivables Ageing Report and highlight overdue accounts.
Coordinate with the Marketing & Sales team and Finance Departments to ensure payment collection targets are achieved.
Communicate with customers regarding invoice details, payment schedules, debit/credit notes, and discrepancies.
Identify high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate recovery strategies.
Maintain documentation of follow-ups (calls, emails, visits) for record and audit purposes.
Coordinate with banks for cheque deposits, fund tracking, and ensure posting in the ledger in coordination with the Finance Department.
Reconcile customers' ledger on a monthly basis and sort out discrepancies.
Support in preparation of collection forecasts and fund flow projections.
Assist in developing and implementing credit control policies to minimize bad debts.
Any other jobs assigned from time to time by the higher management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Undergraduate with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in recovery.
Preferred candidates having previous work experience in a corporate house.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Good proficiency in MS Excel and accounting.
Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations professionally
