Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity take-offs, measurements, BOQs, cost estimates, and project cost documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction practices, technical drawings, quantity verification, and coordination with site and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Take and verify site measurements for civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works as required.
Check quantities against approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and actual site works.
Prepare measurement sheets and support interim payment applications.
Check subcontractor measurements and assist in preparing payment recommendations.
Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and quantity requirements.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintain accurate records of quantities, measurements, variations, and project costs.
Monitor and document changes in project scope and quantities.
Assist in quantity reconciliation and cost control throughout the project.
Ensure proper documentation of measurement and billing-related records.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
Good knowledge of construction practices and quantity surveying procedures.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of BOQs, quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimation.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively with site and project teams.
Experience in building construction projects will be an advantage.
