About Us:

Ghumam Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a leading travel platform dedicated to providing seamless travel experiences for both international and domestic tourists in Nepal. We are currently seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our team on a contract basis to ensure the highest quality of our mobile app.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Ghumam mobile app.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report defects.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create a test strategy.
• Ensure the app meets functional and technical requirements before release.
• Document and track bugs using appropriate tools, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Conduct usability testing to provide feedback on the user experience.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide QA estimates for tasks.
• Continuously monitor app performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably in mobile app testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA testing, or related fields.
• Familiarity with testing APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
