Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Quality Assurance Executive at Devyani International Nepal Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu. The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for conducting quality control, managing quality assurance processes, performing quality audits, and utilizing food technology expertise in the restaurant industry.

Detailed Job Description

  • Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products that are manufactured at vendor end.
  • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements
  • Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest
  • Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines
  • Providing training to the quality assurance team of vendor regarding Global food safety.
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records and review them
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met according to company set quality parameters.
  • Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • Monitor the production phase at various levels
  • Monitor and perform Quality audits in the restaurants.
  • Monitor Bakery and Warehouses according to set Quality parameters, train team for food safety and HACCP and prepare required documentation.
  • Monitors the quality of all products being manufactured at the vendor manufacturing facility and assists team leaders to correct defects. Emphasis on process control for all products. Coordinates and maintains a HACCP program for the plant.
  • Assists in resolving hotline complaints about products, maintaining necessary records regarding the resolution. May meet with vendors, customers and quality representatives and other company staff to discuss and resolve quality issues.
  • Participates in or may lead internal and external quality audits of the vendors and restaurants. Participates in regular meetings with plant management to discuss quality improvements. Ensures that all GMP and safety standards are complying.

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Having a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology from reputed University.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office 
  • Profound knowledge of quality control standards
  • Two-Wheeler license. 

Certifications: 

  • Globally recognized ISO 22000, 
  • HACCP, 
  • GMP, 
  • Lean Six Sigma certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
