Job Title: QA Engineer - WordPress/WooCommerce/Shopify

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality web experiences. This role involves testing websites and e-commerce solutions, identifying issues, and working closely with the development and product teams to ensure the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & QA:
• Conduct thorough testing of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify websites and applications.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and functionalities.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project review meetings.

Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing processes.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, test cases, and results.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and easily accessible for team members.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in QA, WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in QA processes.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in QA, specifically with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms.
• Proven experience in testing e-commerce websites and applications.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify architecture.
• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of accessibility and SEO best practices.
